Charles W. (Bill)
Keedy has been in the real estate business since the late 60's. He
was formerly a broker/salesman with ERA Tom Grizzard, Inc. in
Leesburg for the last 25 years plus.
Bill has spent his
real estate career in many of the facets of commercial Real Estate.
He sold citrus groves for many years until devastating freezes of
the early 80's. In addition, he has listed and marketed many if the
industrial buildings in his area of Lake and Sumter Counties, some
two or three times. He is familiar with this market and keeps up
with the market, hoping to sell even more. While his emphasis has
always been industrial, he has also sold some of the larger
commercial buildings, including the former Scotty's store in
Leesburg and the Children and Family Buildings in Wildwood. With
experience as an owner and broker, he is now using that knowledge
listing and selling Mobile Home Park Communities, his latest sale
being a 182 space park on a major lake.
He has been working as
a teammate with Fran Dann, a fellow broker/salesman, for the
past 4 years. After much study and retrospection Fran and Bill
decided that it would be in their best interest and a boost to their
share in the market is they joined, what us the Premier Real Estate
Office in the Marion/Ocala area, FOXFIRE REALTY, Foxfire has a major
share of the real estate market in Marion County, and it is their
plan and objective to help them capture that same share of
Commercial Real Estate in the are we now work, and more!
He has served in his
Realtors' organization as member of his local board, and chairman of
the ethics committee. His civic activities include work with the Boy
Scotts of America (Order of the Arrow) and church work in youth
activities, both as a teacher and youth group leader. He was a
charter member of the civitan Club in Leesburg, and a charter member
of the Lady Lake Kiwanis Club. He is currently a member of the
Sumter County EDC and serves on the committee of the Cracker Day
celebration, sponsored by the Langley Medical Center. As teammates,
Fran and Bill support youth activities throughout their area.
